Michael Elliot, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President
Michael Elliot has had an extensive and distinguished career in a variety of industries. He began in the Entertainment Industry as a teenager, and worked actively in film and television for over 40 years. Michael still maintains active relationships with film industry personnel throughout the world. Since 1983, he has focused on Marketing, where he has been exceptionally successful. In that year, Michael was employed as Marketing Director for the Rockley Resort on the Island of Barbados, where he helped them realize an increase of 700% in monthly gross sales. Michael was the first person to adapt the concept of timesharing to hotels, rather than condos. His company named Hideaway Beach Clubs was the first company to market 5 Star Hotels on the ocean throughout the Caribbean and Mexico. This company generated an extra $45M for the hotels at each of the five locations. Since then, Michael has successfully marketed resorts under the trade names of Rams Hill Marketing Group, Tradewinds Marketing, Interval Investments, and Global Marketing Enterprises, Inc. For the past five years, Michael has been instrumental in developing the products and marketing plan for Eco-Safe, which he co-founded with Mike McCluney. Michael is co-inventor on all provisional patents held by Eco-Safe.

Mike McCluney, Chief Technical Officer
Mike has actively owned and operated business for over 28 years in aviation, landscape, environmental, and Ozone industries. As the Co-Founder of Hawaii Jet Centers serving Fortune 500 companies, he grew this business for seven years until its sale when its gross annual revenues were $10,000,000. Mike co-founded Ozone Industries in 1995 where he created an innovative method of using Ozone for resort hotels and the U.S. Army. He is co-inventor of Eco-Safe’s current provisional patents.

Dr. Ata (Al) Baroudi, Food Safety Czar
Dr. Baroudi has over 30 years’ experience in the food industry as a quality assurance executive for both operating companies and the Food Safety Institute, International. Dr. Baroudi has also conducted food and poultry processing inspection training for the Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration. At the Food Safety Institute he advised YUM Brands and implemented several health, nutrition, and food safety initiatives. Dr. Baroudi has also held executive quality assurance positions with The Vons Companies, Inc. and Borden, Inc. Dr. Baroudi holds a Ph.D. in Food Processing and Technology / Regulatory from Ohio State University and a M.Sc. Food Science and Technology / Microbiology from the University of California-Davis.

Bill Knauer, Director of Sales
Bill has over 35 years experience in consumer packaged goods, food/beverage sales, marketing, manufacturing, and distribution. He has held eight administrative/managerial positions within these industries, and served as the National Sales Promotion Manager for the Campbell Soup Company. He has been notable in his efforts by increasing sales, market share, profits and R.O.I. through redirecting and restructuring the key Sales, Marketing, Merchandising Distribution facets of these businesses. Bill received his university training from the University of Minnesota and Cal State Northridge.

Larry LaVerne, Director of Marketing
Larry has held ownership, managerial, administrative, and consulting positions for 37 years within a variety of industries, with an emphasis on Marketing, Advertising, and Sales. While serving as a Marketing Consultant during the first gas crisis in 1974, Larry was responsible for creating a marketing plan which saved the car wash business from near extinction. His efforts have been very successful in increasing sales and enhancing the advertising used by his clients. Larry has also created and delivered training seminars for a variety of companies.

Dennis R. Harp, Ph.D., Chief Scientist and Director of Education
Dr. Harp has more than 32 years experience in public education at all levels from elementary to graduate studies, and most recently was Director of Physics Outreach Education at Purdue University. Dr. Harp has a strong focus on science education for the public and has served on various national committees and maintains contact with university personnel throughout the world. He is also an inventor and author, and has owned and operated a variety of business for over 20 years. Dr. Harp received his doctorate from Purdue University.

Thomas L. Nguyen, Ph.D., Director of Research and Development
Dr. Nguyen has over 24 years experience in industry and university positions, and has held positions at Allied-Signal Aerospace, TRW Electronic System Group, and Aerojet, and has taught at three different universities. He is a specialist in project design and implementation and has consulted on a variety of environmental projects in third-world countries. Dr. Nguyen has received degrees from Cal Poly, the University of California at Davis, and earned his Ph.D. at Purdue University in Mechanical Engineering.
